1. Introduction

Your Firm Name(“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of visitors to this website and individuals who contact us, in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Personal data we collect

When you submit our contact form, message us on WhatsApp, call, or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, and any details you choose to share about your legal matter.

3. Purpose of processing

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, perform a conflict-of-interest check, schedule a consultation, and, where you engage us, to provide legal services. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

4. Retention

Enquiry data that does not result in an engagement is retained only as long as needed to respond to you and is deleted thereafter. Data relating to an engaged matter is retained in accordance with our professional record-keeping obligations as advocates and solicitors.

5. Confidentiality

Information you share with us is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties except where required by law, necessary to act on your instructions, or with your consent.

6. No lawyer-client relationship

Submitting an enquiry through this website, WhatsApp, phone, or email does not, by itself, create a lawyer-client relationship. A lawyer-client relationship, and the confidentiality and privilege that come with it, is only formed once we have completed a conflict check and both parties have signed an engagement letter.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to further processing, by contacting us at enquiries@yourfirm.example.
